Message: After a few years of being a non-licensed member of two radio clubs I studied and took my test to get my novice. Part of the motivation was I had received my Third Class Radiotelephone so I figured if I could just get the code it would be easy.I made a few contacts on 15 and 40 but CW did not really interest me so I was not very active. Field Day was my favorite activity and I was drawn to VHF and antennae.
