KN6CHR, Paul,

I went on the air in 1953.

My Elmer was Frank, W6TTU.

I operated mostly on 80 meter CW in 1953 with a Philco NT-200 (6V6/6L6) and a S-40receiver. Later climbed the ladder to a 75A4 and a DX-100.

W6RHM and W6UJX were regular contacts on CW.

I have recovered a lot of lost friends from the San Fernando Valley on the SFV Old Timers Yahoogroup.

If you are an old SFV Ham please visit to read stories and see pictures .

Paul,  now W0RW
